About HondaJet

The HondaJet HA-420 is an innovative Light Jet produced by Honda Aircraft Company. The HA-420 is easily recognizable thanks to its Over-The-Wing Engine Mount (OTWEM) design that reduces drag, improves speed and range and maximizes the size of the interior cabin.

HondaJet received its FAA type certificate in late 2015 and the first customer delivery was made in December 2015. In May of 2016 the HA-240 received type certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

The HondaJet is manufactured at Piedmont Triad International Airport in Charlotte, North Carolina.

At the 2018 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland, Honda Aircraft Company unveiled a new upgraded version, the HondaJet Elite. Honda claims the upgraded HondaJet Elite is more fuel efficient than any other aircraft in its category and has achieved an extended range of 1,650 miles, making it the furthest-flying aircraft in its class.
